In <44575@mindlink.bc.ca>, Ken Carpenter asked about the Transport Library
Interface. I recommend the book "UNIX Network Programming" by W. Richard
Stevens, Prentice-Hall publishers. It is a very lucid exposition on network
programming, including Berkeley sockets and TLI (with the emphasis on
sockets). The TLI calls are similar enough in functionality to the socket
calls that the book should be a great help to you. I would recommend it to
any network (esp. TCP/IP) programmer.

Subject: How to resolve country from internet-addresses
Are there any method/program/file/whatever to resolve the country from internet-addresses?
This applies to both servers, e.g winftp.cica.indiana.edu, where edu=USA/Canada(?),
and individuals, e.g eivindh@met.sintef.no, where no=Norway.
Mail me if you care, I'll post a summary if anything comes up!
Thanx!
